Fun in the fountains at Coolidge Park

We went to Chattanooga today to play in the fountains at Coolidge park. The boys had a blast. Shawn loved it since it has been awhile since we were there last. Jake was unsure of it to begin with and only stayed on the outer parts of the fountain. UNlike Shawn who spent most of his time in the middle, Jake never ventured that far but still managed to have a blast. We had a great lunch and then played more. From there we got dry clothes on and then rode the carousel twice. Best part of all, Mommy didnt get lost on the way home.

To cap of the day,we stopped at Dairy Queen for hot fudge sundaes(dipped cone for Jake).

my baby turned 3 on Sunday

Its so surreal.I cant believe that he is already 3. I know its a cliche but it really does seem like I just brought him home from the hospital. He is so big and so smart. Its scary sometimes how advanced he has gotten with vocabulary and his ability to reason!

homeschooling adventures

We have made a decision to homeschool S who is 9. He is having many problems in school and is failing for lack of maturity and worrying too much about other people. Now the adventure begins, me having the patience to homeschool with an opionated mouthy preteen.
